( para Español: ver a continuación ) This is the last eBA Basketball Statistics Analysis Open Course till the 2011 Academic Year.
During the current year 2010, begining on Monday 1st. of March,in a collaborative project between the eBA Stats Team and the last four Academic Years graduates, a whole year Basketball Statistics Clinic ONLINE will take place. The eBA Stats Team and the Courses Graduates will work in groups under the supervision of the Prof. Roberto Azar, in order to elaborate a new and final edition of the eBA System - The Basketball Statistics Creative Analysis.
The work will be developed throughout a Weekly Interactive Chat Clinic for each group, just as the Chat Clinic which takes place after each eBA Basketball Statistics Analysis Course. We sincerely hope to succeed at this given goal and to present on December 28, 2010 ( our 12th. Anniversary on the Web ! )the new edition of the eBA Basketball Statistics Analysis System eBook.
Este es el último Curso Abierto de Registro de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto eBA hasta el año lectivo 2011.
Durante el presente año 2010, comenzado el 1ro. de Marzo, en un proyecto colaborativo entre el Equipo eBA Stats y los graduados de los Cursos de los últimos cuatro Años Académicos, se llevara a cabo una Clínica EN-LINEA de Estadísticas del Baloncesto de un año de duración. El Equipo eBA Stats y los Graduados de los Cursos trabajarán en grupos bajo la supervisión del Prof. Roberto Azar, con el objetivo de elaborar la edición de una nueva versión del Sistema eBA de Análisis Creativo de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto.
El trabajo será desarrollado a través de Clínicas en Salas de Chat interactivas para cada uno de los grupos, exactamente de la misma manera en que se realizan las Clínicas en Salas de Chat luego de cada Curso de Registro de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto. Nosotros sinceramente esperamos tener éxito en este objetivo y presentar el 28 de Diciembre del año 2010 ( nuestro 12mo. Aniversario en la Red ! ) la nueva edición del Sistema eBA de Análisis de las Estadísticas del Baloncesto en el formato de eBook.

Statistics is a mathematical science referring to gathering, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. This have relevance into a broad assortment of academic disciplines from the physical and social sciences to the humanities, as well as to business, government, medicine and industry, and beginning with the fundamental role statistics plays in sports in general and Basketball in particular, which is our topic in this space.
Descriptive Statistics: Statistical methods - as the included in this exposition, 1st. & 2nd. part - can be used in Basketball to sum up or report a collection of data.
Inferential Statistics: Patterns in the data may be modeled, in a sense that accounts for randomness and uncertainty in the observations, to draw inferences about the process or population being studied.
Applied Statistics: Both descriptive and inferential statistics can be taken into account as part of applied statistics. The discipline of mathematical statistics is involved with the theoretical basis of the topic.
In its application in the sports area, the word statistics is also the plural of statistic (singular), which makes reference to the result of applying a statistical algorithm to a set of data. ..."
